How One Desire to Help Turned Into a Purpose-Driven Practice
My story starts with my mom.
She lived with fibromyalgia, and I wanted to help her hurt less. That was the whole reason — no career plan, no business idea, just a daughter looking for a way to ease her mother's pain. But the moment I started learning massage, something I didn't expect happened: I found I had an intuitive feel for the body. I could sense what it was holding, what it was guarding, what it needed permission to let go of. And I fell in love — with helping others, and with how healing the work turned out to be for me too.
That sent me to the Arizona School of Massage Therapy, where I earned my license in November 2017. It wasn't a glamorous chapter, but it was a real one — late nights studying anatomy, early mornings on shift at the bakery, not quite enough sleep and a whole lot of heart. I wouldn't trade it. That season gave me a kind of grit you can't learn any other way.
From Pure Body Sculpt to 33 North
Before 33 North, I worked under the name Pure Body Sculpt, offering body contouring alongside massage. Over time the truth got clear: massage wasn't one of my services — it was my calling. So I followed it.
The name comes from where I stand. The 33rd parallel runs right through North Scottsdale, exactly where I work — a name rooted in place and purpose, in showing up where you're meant to be. My partner Alex came into my life in late 2024, and I couldn't have built this without him. While I'm the hands of the practice, he's the brains: he built Sophosic, the platform that runs everything behind the scenes — the bookings, the confirmations, the seamless experience from the moment you find me to the moment you walk in. It lets a small, lovingly-run studio operate like it has a team of ten, so my hands are free to do what only they can. Touch and technology, heart and code.
The Way I Work
I'm intentional at the table. Every stroke is considered, every transition deliberate. When I'm with you, I'm all the way in — present, listening less to your words than to what your body is telling me underneath them.
Here's the part most people don't expect: this work takes real patience. You can't rush a body. You follow what you find and trust the process, because the body will always tell you what it needs — your job is to slow down long enough to hear it. That's what separates this from a standard spa visit. I'm not an employee punching a clock; I own this practice, and I'm genuinely invested in every person on my table — your comfort, your progress, how you feel between sessions. You can tell when someone actually cares. My clients feel it.
What I Offer
With over eight years of experience and a nationally recognized license (MT-24258), I work across a range of therapeutic modalities, each one chosen with intention and applied with care:
Swedish · Deep Tissue · Myofascial Release · Injury · Sports · Trigger Point · Lomi Lomi · Cupping · Hot Stone · Aromatherapy · Scalp · CBD & CBG Relief
My favorite? Lomi Lomi. The long, flowing strokes move the whole body like a wave, and clients who've never felt it often leave speechless. More than any other modality, it captures what I believe massage can be at its best — deeply relaxing, fully immersive, and quietly transformative.
I also hand-make a small line of aromatherapy rollers — Root & Rise, Ground & Glow, Vital Flow, and Radiant Release — so you can carry a little of the calm home with you between appointments. Mind, body, and soul, even between sessions.
Who I Love Working With
My ideal client is open, honest, and willing to trust the process — someone who shows up, tells me what's going on, and gives their body permission to receive the work. My favorite thing to witness is growth over time: a body that loosens, responds, and heals session after session. This is the long game, not a one-time fix.
When you leave my studio, I want you walking on a cloud — light on your feet, looser, more mobile, and a little lighter emotionally too, like something you'd been carrying finally got set down somewhere safe. My only ask before you ever get on my table: be comfortable, be at ease, and be honest with me about what you need. This is your time. Breathe into it, and let the rest go.
Taking Care of Myself So I Can Take Care of You
Showing up well for this community means holding myself to a high standard — physically, emotionally, and professionally. My own routine is simple and consistent: daily stretches, walks, balanced meals, plenty of water, and rest I actually protect. No gimmicks. Just the basics, done with the same intention I bring to the table.
Where We're Going
I see 33 North going far. The long-term vision is a full-service wellness destination — more massage rooms, a team of therapists, estheticians offering facials, a float spa, red light therapy. A place where healing happens in every room, on every level. We're building toward it one session at a time.
For now, there's a table here with your name on it. Come find me at 33.696640, -111.891117 — exactly where the name says.
